Because our Implementation Specialists work exclusively with service industry contractors, they understand your challenges and know how to help you conquer them.
TEAM has spent years developing and refining the implementation process for new clients. We have a unique method of configuring your system and populating it with your data while we train your end users about how to use the system. For example, during our “Getting Started” sessions, we discuss core components of the system, like your chart of accounts. After we discuss the details, your staff is assigned the task of completing the set up of your chart of accounts. A couple of days later, we get back together with you to review any questions and move on to the next step. You are never left to figure things out on your own.
The entire implementation process is laid out for you in a clear, concise project plan with tasks, assignments and due dates. Our Implementation Specialists will configure the project plan based on your company’s goals for implementation. As milestones are reached, the project plan is updated and shared with all team members working through the implementation.
The following methods of training are available from TEAM. Typically, a combination of methods below are used for new client implementations.
These are highly customized training sessions in which users may be “shadowed” by a TEAM Implementation Specialist during initial set up. In this scenario, control can be passed back and forth from the TEAM staff member to the class attendee so that users can immediately apply what they’re learning. Classes are typically scheduled in 2 hour increments at your convenience. Online training is recommended for introductory classes and follow-up training for existing users.
TEAM also conducts face-to-face training sessions with clients at their place of business. By traveling to your office, our Implementation Specialists get to see your operations first-hand and interact with many different staff members. On-site training engagements usually last 3 to 4 days and focus on process training after basic data has been set up.
TEAM’s customers are always welcome in Omaha. Many customers prefer to send staff members to TEAM’s offices for training so that they are not distracted by daily tasks at their own job.
In order to reduce the amount of time spent on data entry during initial set up, TEAM offers conversion services to populate your new database with basic information from your existing system, such as, employees, customers, jobs, vendors and inventory items.
